Workshop on Cyber Safety

A Cyber Safety workshop was conducted on 09 December 2025 for the students of Grade VI and VII. The session was led by Ms. Lavitha, Senior Academic Trainer from RootingU Foundation, who focused on creating awareness about safe and responsible online behaviour. She explained various cyber threats such as phishing, identity theft, cyberbullying, and the risks of sharing personal information on digital platforms.

Students were guided on how to create strong passwords, identify suspicious links, and report unsafe online activities. Through interactive discussions and relatable examples, the trainer highlighted the importance of digital hygiene and being cautious while interacting on social media and gaming platforms.

The workshop encouraged students to think critically about their online actions and equipped them with essential strategies to stay protected in the digital world. Overall, it was an informative and engaging session that enhanced students’ cyber awareness.
