Special Assembly – Jallianwala Bagh Massacre Remembrance

To commemorate the 107th anniversary of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, an assembly was conducted on Monday, 13 April 2026. The assembly began with a brief introduction by One of the (Aakash House prefect) R B Shruthika from 11 A highlighting the significance of 13 April 1919 in India’s freedom struggle. Students of Classes VI and VII presented speeches and recited self-composed poems paying tribute to the martyrs of Jallianwala Bagh.

The speeches focused on the values of courage, sacrifice, and the importance of standing against injustice. As a mark of respect, all students observed *two minutes of silence* in their respective classrooms at 8:00 a.m. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem. The programme successfully instilled a sense of patriotism and historical awareness among students.
