Puzzle Activity on History Topic :The Rise of Nationalism in Europe

On 17 April 2026, an interactive puzzle activity was conducted in Class 10 during the History period to revise the chapter ‘The Rise of Nationalism in Europe’. Selected students held placards with key topic-point headlines such as French Revolution and the Idea of the Nation, Napoleonic Code, Unification of Italy, Unification of Germany etc. They stood in a jumbled order with their cards. The rest of the class was asked to solve the puzzle by re-arranging the students in the correct chronological and thematic sequence of events.

The activity encouraged peer learning, recall of important chapter concepts, and teamwork. Students actively participated and were able to link causes, events, and outcomes of 19th-century European nationalism. The activity made revision engaging and helped students strengthen their understanding of the timeline and key developments of the chapter.
